4th Plynth
Antony Gormley 4th Plinth Project 14th September 2009
Ann Jordan, was one of the 2,400 people selected to take part in the 4th plinth art project.
“My reason for taking part is that I feel it is important to reconnect the past with the present, as they both determine our futures. I intend to become a living statue, who knits herself into a shroud/cocoon, then re-emerges celebrating all those unknown who have shaped our lives and country”.
The project, was commissioned by the Mayor of London with funds from the Arts Council, and produced in partnership with Sky Arts, and saw a different person take their place on the Fourth Plinth every hour, 24 hours a day, for 100 days and ran until 14th October 2009.
